TESTING GROUNDS TO PRODUCTION A new line of mining equipment and global cooperation with one of the largest Russian companies. At the Palace of Independence, the President of Belarus received Vladimir Potanin, a well‑known entrepreneur in business circles. The companies associated with Potanin – Interros and Norilsk Nickel – are interested in cooperating with Belarusian manufacturers. First and foremost, this concerns mining equipment. SECURITY PARTNERSHIP Belarus and Vietnam are expanding their cooperation in the field of security. A meeting was held between the State Secretary of Security Council and the Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam. The parties exchanged views on current issues related to the international and regional situation. Today, it is important to adhere to the principle of universal, equal, and indivisible security based on mutual trust and respect, taking into account each other’s interests. INNOVATION AND PARTNERSHIP The fifth exhibition of Chinese goods and services has been opened at Minsk International Exhibition Centre. China has announced 127 companies, all of which represent various sectors: industry, construction, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. The programme is rich with high‑level forums, business meetings, and company presentations. This significant event serves as an important platform for trade and economic cooperation, technological exchange, and joint business opportunities between China and Belarus. DOUBLE GDP Belarus has set a goal for the coming years to double the tourism industry's contribution to the country's economy, reaching 4.5% of GDP. A large-scale state programme, "Tourism", designed for 2026-2030, aims to achieve this goal. It includes 37 measures. Work is being carried out in four areas: the development of industry facilities, national tourism, tourism services marketing, and the digitalization of the industry.
