INTERREGIONAL RELATIONS Belarus and Uzbekistan are strengthening regional cooperation. An agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as a roadmap for 2026-2028, was signed between Vitebsk and Andijan Oblasts. The partners intend to expand investment cooperation and develop cooperative ties. The future prospects include the creation of new joint industrial and agricultural ventures. NORTHERN SILK Belarusian flax is valued not only within the country but also abroad: linen products under the “Made in Belarus” brand are exported to 40 countries around the world. One of the main regions where “northern silk” is grown in Minsk Oblast.
