During a visit to Mozambique, the Belarusian Foreign Minister met with the President of the African Republic. The parties discussed the current level of cooperation, focusing on agricultural mechanization to ensure food security and strengthening Mozambique's industrial sovereignty. AI WITHOUT LIMITS A high-level meeting on artificial intelligence governance was held in Shanghai as part of a global thematic conference. Belarusian Minister of Communications and Informatization Kirill Zalessky outlined our country's vision for the development of AI-based technologies. Our goal is to ensure that every sector of the economy, every government agency and every citizen have access to the latest artificial intelligence capabilities. FOOD AND HOSPITALITY Belarus presented its national exposition for the first time at the 20th International Exhibition Food & Hospitality Indonesia in Jakarta. This year, over 500 leading producers, distributors and retailers from over 20 countries participated in the display. Belarus showcased its food products, beverages and scientific developments. Indonesia's Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana attended the opening ceremony of Food & Hospitality and the Belarusian exposition. BIOTECH EXPORT Belarus and China signed a roadmap for the development of the country's flagship biotechnology project. The document was inked by the National Academy of Sciences and the Chinese corporation. The focus is on improving production efficiency and expanding export potential. LOCALLY GROWN TROUT The only facility in the CIS producing fertilized trout roe operates in Mogilev Oblast of Belarus. The first batch of 450.000 trout larvae was produced at the Paluzh fish farm in Cherikov District. According to specialists fertilized trout roe was imported to Belarus from Europe before the facility opened.
