What an honour to be at the Belarusian Church centre in Finchley for the visit by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. I found the prayers for Belarus said in the Church & the singing of Mahutny Bozha incredibly moving. The ashes of our friend Vera Rich are interred in the church wall & I felt her presence very strongly. She would have been very proud that the woman for whom the majority of Belarusians voted as their Leader was present in the Church that was such an important part of Vera’s life.
