BOOSTING ECONOMIC TIES Belarus and Myanmar are committed to consistently developing dialogue at various levels. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with the Speaker of the Assembly of the Union of Myanmar. A parliamentary delegation from the Asian republic is visiting Minsk. Active political contacts have been established between the countries, and a trusting dialogue has been built at the highest level. The goal is to translate this into successful economic projects. These projects are outlined in the cooperation roadmap for the coming years. NEGOTIATION PROCESS The dialogue between Belarus and the United States continues. The President has been briefed on the progress made in Belarusian-American track. Several rounds of negotiations with U.S. Special Envoy John Coale visiting Minsk have taken place at the Palace of Independence throughout this year. The American side has noted significant progress achieved by the two countries as a result of these talks. For Belarus the result was the lifting of a number of sanctions-related restrictions on companies. NEW HORIZONS IN LOGISTICS A meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in a narrow format was held in Dushanbe. The event was hosted by the international government residence of Kohi Somon. Belarus has been a full member of the SCO for three years now. And today, as Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin stated, more than 75 percent of our foreign trade is directed to the market of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Our country is promoting specific projects and agreements in various fields. NATIONAL BRAND More than two hundred product items under the "Made in Belarus" brand are now featured in the first national pavilion for Belarusian goods, which has officially opened in China. The pavilion is located in the city of Heihe, in Heilongjiang Province. This project serves not only as a significant symbolic milestone ahead of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations, but also as a fresh approach to the logistics of supplying Belarusian goods to China. ENERGY INNOVATION UNLOCKED The WETEX-2026 international exhibition was held in Dubai. About three thousand companies from 60 countries were represented at the site. Vitebsk enterprise "Energocomplekt" offered its innovative developments. It is the largest manufacturer of cable and wire products in our country, 90 percent of which is exported to more than 30 destinations across the globe. EXPANDING COOPERATION The first Belarusian Chinese tourism forum was held in Brest. The participants included more than 150 representatives of government agencies, businesses, and experts from our countries.
