As is well known, a good haircut ennobles a person. Personally, I go to the hairdresser for one simple reason — they… ennoble me there. If it weren’t for hair salons, we probably wouldn’t even realize how wildly overgrown we’ve become. And these are Anya and Ulya — true fairy godmothers of their craft. With their skill, they can turn a shaggy creature into an elegant prince. They’re always smiling, which makes it clear they genuinely enjoy every client and truly love what they do. Yes, that still happens. They work in a small little house on Dolna Street 4 in Warsaw. Its modest size stands in amusing contrast to the high level of their craftsmanship — and only highlights it. As for the prices, they match the place perfectly: pleasantly small. Around 40–50 złoty for men and about 70 for women. We simply call them “our beauties” and go to them not just for a haircut, but for a good mood as well. I’ve been going to Anya and Ulya for several years now, and every time I leave looking better, feeling younger, and — most importantly — smiling. So even if you live far from the corner of Belwederska and Dolna, it’s still worth the trip. You won’t regret it.
