Can a single letter change how we see the world? My first solo exhibition "Forms" was the hardest project I’ve ever filmed.
Poetry is not just about words; it's a way of experiencing the world. In this video, I take you behind the scenes of my first solo exhibition in central Poland. From three months of visualizing the Gospel of John to experimenting with traditional fonts at the Museum of Art Book, I explore what it means to create a "cultural dialogue" in the 21st century.
00:00 – Poetry becomes visual world
00:25 – Calligraphy redefines poetry
01:38 – Exhibition’s five essence zones
02:02 – Ginsberg poem as image
02:37 – Vilnius sparked transformation
04:39 – Letters spill, public surprise
06:09 – Language, identity intertwined
07:58 – City, travel, materials collide
12:27 – Bible becomes visual text
15:08 – Zines unlock hidden poems
19:01 – Travel shapes narrative forms
22:49 – Museum prints alive
We often think of art as a finished product, but the real story is in the street dialogues and the traditional printing trays. This exhibition of mine was a sort of a test: Can visual forms make us feel the weight of a text again?
If you believe art should be a conversation, subscribe and join the dialogue. What poem would you want to see in a visual form?
