Finnish death-doom legends Swallow the Sun brought their melancholic heaviness to Hangar 1819 in Greensboro, NC on February 26. The Finns headlined the night, but the crowd was thinner than expected. Things got off to a rough start when vocalist Mikko Kotamäki was nearly inaudible—at first, we thought it was due to his noticeable weight gain.
