In the middle of May almost all grass in the center of Hrodna city was mowed and the clutch of eggs of Grey partridges (Perdix perdix) was destroyed. Since that sad story I saw the pair of the birds only 2 times, at the beginning of June and 10-07. But the most amazing became the next meeting, when I was glad to see adults which were followed by 2 small chicks! For sure it was the result of the second attempt of nesting of partridges this season.
